For Ontario Prescribers

The Ministry of Health’s Assistive Devices Program will only accept funding applications for all device categories that have been submitted via eSubmission. As a prescriber, you will be required to provide an electronic signature (e-signature) for each of your patients applying for funding assistance.

Privacy for you and your patients is of paramount importance to Medigas. For data protection purposes, Medigas uses DocuSign®, a cloud-based platform that encrypts highly sensitive information such as Personal Information and Personal Health Information. Through DocuSign, your patients’ funding application will be securely completed and transmitted to and from Medigas.
