Medigas is committed to high standards of ethical and responsible conduct in compliance with applicable Canadian laws. To do this, we deal fairly and honestly with employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, competitors, the public and the communities in which we work.
Strong ethical and legal compliance makes good business sense and is the right thing to do. Ethical behaviour leads to sustainable business success.
As employees of Medigas, we will:
• Render the highest level of service promptly and competently, with our clients’ health and safety as our first priority.
• Serve all clients regardless of race, religion, political belief, gender, social status, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
• Respect our clients’ right to select the home medical equipment provider of their choice.
• Act in good faith and be honest, truthful and fair to all concerned.
• Respect the confidential nature of clients’ records and disclose such information only with proper authorization, except as required by law.
• Provide quality home medical equipment and services that are appropriate for clients’ needs and fall within our scope of practice.
• Accept clients’ expressions of dissatisfaction or suggestions for service changes without coercion, discrimination, reprisal, or unreasonable interruption in service.
